PROBLEM  Though her characters and wit are celebrated in the literary world, Jane Austen's work is undeniably dated to the 19th century, resulting in a disconnect between her literature and modern readers.

OBJECTIVE  Re-position Jane Austen and her novels for the millennial reader with a fun, interactive social experience that honors the integrity of her work while making her stories more relatable.

SOLUTION  Enhance the book club night with a series of limited-edition cordials. Each cordial will be themed to one of Jane's six published novels and come in a boxed set that included a copy of that novel and several light-hearted Austen-themed drinking games - perfect for a girl's night in!

Student project created at Syracuse University's Communications Design program. Project developed entirely by designer from concept to creation, including Branding, Packaging Design, Advertising, Illustration and Copywriting.
